Editing a data source with a form component offers the following features:

- App developers can link two components to a data source.
Get Started
To edit a data source with a form component you’ll need to:
- Set up the list from data source
- Set up the form
This is a handy feature that will allow you to manage your data without having to use the data source interface on Fliplet Studio.
You’ll need two components for this – a List from data source component and a form. Both of these components must be linked to the same data source in order to work.
Step 1 – Set up the List from data source

Set up a new component or use an existing one

In the Entry management settings, you need to select the option to add or edit data. When asked what screen to use to edit/add data, select the screen with the form

Step 2 – Set up the form

Set up your form adding all the fields that you need to enter the correct data

In the Form Settings, make sure to select that the form should save entries into the same data source that the list from data source is using.
Finally, move to Preview mode to test the feature.
