Adding the App List component to your app will create an app Portal, with which you gain full control of your app deployment. Once you have deployed the initial app with the app list you will be able to push out your apps through the portal as soon as you click ‘Publish’ in Fliplet Studio. This means no more waiting for Apple, Google or Microsoft to approve your app!
How does it work?
Through the app list, set a list of "sub" apps that you’d like to make available through the portal. You can choose multiple apps, meaning your customers or colleagues can find all your apps in one place. In order to set up a portal, just follow these quick steps:
Step 1. Choose what kind of app to include in the app list
Choose to only show published apps - only apps that you have manually clicked ‘Publish’ in Fliplet Studio (in the Launch checklist) will be available in the Portal
Choose to include all apps that have not been published - this will allow you to use your portal to preview your apps similarly to Fliplet Viewer. Think of it as your own Fliplet Viewer, with your own branding. This can be really useful if you want to allow access to the apps before they’ve been published to see how features work, or to get feedback
Step 2: Select your app security
This is where you specify who will have access to your apps. There are 4 different security options:
No security - anyone with access to the screen with the portal can access all of the apps you select. If you are using other forms of authorization, or it’s an app that’s open to anyone, then choose this option.
All Authorized Users - anyone you’ve specified by email address will be able to authenticate and get access to all of the apps that you’ve selected. If you choose this option, you will need to specify what data source contains the email addresses that are authorized. This is an example of how to organize your data source for this option:
Some Authorized Users - same as above, but you can also assign specific apps to specific users. You will have to specify in your data source which email addresses are authorized to access which specific apps. In the data source, you will need a column with the app ID, which you can find by scrolling down, and looking at your available apps, example:

Fliplet Login - users with a Fliplet login will be able to access the app. They will need to authorize with their email address that is registered on Fliplet Studio
Step 3: Set your App tokens (only necessary if you’ve chosen All or Some Authorized users as your security option)
This token is what allows the system permission to access your other apps.
You can create a new token directly here, or choose to go into your App settings where you can manage all your app tokens.
Step 4: Select your apps that will be available in the Portal
Simply tick the apps you want to include in your list, then click Save & Close and you’re ready to go!
